Stop the City / Reclaim the Streets

Here are a couple of flyers/ posters, one from the second Stop the City in March 1984 and the other from the second (I think) Reclaim the Streets action in July 1996.

I did find, but it has now vanished, a web page which detailed a direct link between Stop the City and Reclaim the Streets.

But equally, similar ideas do seem to surface every generation or so.
