Look back in Anger
Welcome to the Pleasure Dome...
Saw this version of Kenneth Anger's 'Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome' at the old Scala cinema in 1980. It had a soundtrack by ELO (Eldorado) which seemed strange at the time and even stranger as time passed by and I began to wonder if I had hallucinated the whole thing.
A few years ago I did find a version of the film - but with its original 1954 soundtrack. I have now found he version I saw - I think with other members of the (Kill Your Pet) Puppy Collective) back in 1980.
It is still a rather strange mixture of the popular and the esoteric.
