Ospreys due soon at Castle Douglas/ Threave castle

The Threave/ Castle Douglas ospreys are due to return very soon (end of March/ beginning of April). Myself and my son plan to get out every day from now on so we can a get a photo or video of the ospreys as soon as they arrive.

We will be using the footpath I helped to get built along the old railway line from Castle Douglas to walk out to Threave. The osprey viewing platform is just beyond Threave castle ferry boat jetty.
